This article is just a quick suggestion to fix a problem with an android phone where the wi-fi hotspot goes off by itself a few seconds after turning it on. This technique is tested and verified though I cannot guarantee it will work for every situation. It appears an app babel fonts interferes with the ability of the mobile hotspot to stay on. What we did was: Go to settings , apps (applications manager) Locate Babel fonts and click on it Click on the option to uninstall updates (uninstall it) Restart your phone Optionally you may just disable it. Other things we tried that did not work included changing hotspot power settings under battery in the phone settings Resetting the phone only works temporarily as the babel font updates are reinstalled when you connect to wifi. Today I encountered a rather frustrating incident with a Joomla 3.6.5 installation I was migrating. After successfully moving files and importing the database and configuring the site (configuration.php), I could not login to the Administrator which kept refreshing. All searches pointed to cache files, session tables and .htaccess file as well as checking configuration parameters. I didn't however find any mention of cookie path and cookie domain public $cookie_domain = ''; public $cookie_path = ''; It happened that I had modified them on my local server and these modifications were preventing the administrator logging in when I migrated the website. What made the difference was to clear whatever I had put in the $cookie_path and $cookie_domain in configuration.php and resaving the file.
